Embracing Your Calling: Seeking Confirmation on Your Journey

Today, I want to share a message that resonates deeply: the importance of embracing your calling and seeking confirmation along the way.

We all have unique gifts and a divine purpose, but sometimes it can feel overwhelming to figure out what that looks like in our lives. Whether you come from a non-denominational, Baptist, or Apostolic background, the desire to understand our calling is universal.

A scripture that we all have heard that aligns with seeking guidance from God is Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV):

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

This verse hands down emphasizes the importance of trusting God, seeking His guidance, and allowing Him to direct our paths as we step out in faith. It aligns perfectly with the themes of seeking confirmation and developing a closer relationship with God.

Here’s how you can begin this journey:

1. Listen to Your Heart: God speaks to us in many ways, often through our passions and desires. Take time to reflect on what stirs your spirit. What brings you joy? What issues do you feel called to address? Your heart is a compass pointing towards your calling.

Those things that may discourage you will slowly take a back seat, allowing God to be the driver in your life.
