My Testimony
Strayed to Anchored
My journey, has been one of love and many lessons. My faith began in the heart of the church, where I grew up surrounded by love, worship, and the teachings of Jesus. At the tender age of 13, I experienced a profound moment of anointing that ignited a calling in my life that would guide my path. For the next several years, I immersed myself in preaching, dedicated to sharing the message of hope and love found in Christ. Along side pastoring, in music ministry for the younger generation to connect to God. It felt like I was on top of the world, fulfilling my purpose and living out my dreams.
However, as often happens, life took unexpected turns. There was dark season, I found myself straying from God. Poor choices and decisions led me down a dark path, and I faced the harsh reality that led to feelings of isolation and despair. During those difficult times, I often felt completely separated from God. I questioned my worth and whether I was still deserving of His love. But even in my lowest moments, God never gave up on me. His grace and mercy shone through, reminding me that I was still loved and that my calling remained intact. I began to sense a gentle pull back toward Him, as if He was saying, “You are not alone; I am still here.” Through prayer, reflection, and the impact from loss of loved ones, I found the strength to rise from the ashes of my past. I realized that my experiences, both the highs and the lows were part of a larger story that God was weaving. It was through my struggles that I learned compassion and understanding for others who feel lost and disconnected.
Today, I stand renewed, fully committed to my calling to teach and preach the word of God. I am blessed to not only preach the word of God but also to connect with those who may be wandering, unsure if they can find their way back. I want to share that no matter how far we stray, or what people may label or see you as. God’s love is always within reach and it is your heart HE looks at. My story is one of redemption, and it’s a reminder that we are never beyond the grasp of grace.
Together, let’s journey back to the heart of faith, discovering the hope and purpose that God has for each of us. You are not alone, and there is always a way back home.
