Born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia, Shawnna Graham-Acree has always felt a deep love for God, even though she didn’t grow up attending church every Sunday. It wasn’t until 2014, in her mid-20s, that she truly found her place in a church community and began attending regularly. This step transformed her spiritual journey, deepening her relationship with Christ in profound ways.

Like many, Shawnna has faced low seasons and traumatic experiences, but through it all, she has witnessed God’s unwavering favor in her life. The 2020 pandemic had a significant impact on many church communities, and during this time, Shawnna became more focused on having one-on-one time with God and working on herself. She learned that some challenges are not just for her growth, but to share and encourage others through their own struggles.

Now, as she steps out of her comfort zone from doing more than being the Content Creator of GHOW, it is time for Shawnna to share not only her testimony but also the love and Word of God. She is excited to connect with others and inspire them on their own journeys of faith, standing by her husband, Elder Van Acree Jr., to help fulfill the mission God has placed in their lives.
